My favorite ride is going west to Fermilab.
Favorite biking story:
Three years ago at a bike club banquet, I heard a story of a woman who
was badly injured when she fell from a horse. Several months later she
participated in a triathlon. She could not run at triathlon from her
injury, she walked with a cane. That time I had a serious problem with
my back. The story inspired me to overcome my pain and participate six
months later in my first triathlon in Naperville.
Biggest biking achievement:
Bike riding trip with a group of people in vicinity of Oswego, about 50 miles.
List 3 things the club may not know about you!
- When I was teenager, I used to ride a bike around the area I lived. The city was in a valley which meant I had to pedal hills all the time. I had very strong legs.
- I like to read.
- I like to dance.
